The Boxser Diversity Initiative is pleased to announce that Bill Johnston joined our Board effective 1 January 2020. Bill and his wife, Betsy, have been supporters of ours for a number of years. Bill was the President and COO of the New York Stock Exchange from 1996 to 2001. In addition, he has a long and distinguished career on Wall Street with several well-known firms, and is a graduate of Washington and Lee University. Bill is or has been on the Board of many organizations including New College of Florida, Plymouth Harbor, and DeSoto National Park. . He is also a past trustee of both Washington and Lee University and Hollins University, his wife’s alma mater.
