A fifth generation lawyer, and insurance agent in Sarasota, Manuel is very involved in the Sarasota community.
Amongst others, Manuel is Past President of the Hispanic American Association of Sarasota and Manatee Counties, Past President of the Peruvian Club, past President of St Armands Residents Association, past President of the Gulf Coast Latin Chamber of Commerce,
He is the past Chair of the Human Relations Board of the City of Sarasota. Served in the Police Advisory Panel, Charter Review Committee of the City of Sarasota and past Board member of Catholic Charities, Dioceses of Venice and volunteer with the organization UnidosNow.
