Two Local Filmmakers Receive ‘Emerging Filmmaker Scholarships’ as part of the 2023 Visions of the Black Experience Film Festival

In support of the next generation of local cinematic storytellers, two local filmmakers were recently awarded the ‘Visions of the Black Experience Emerging Filmmaker Scholarship.’

Congratulations to the winners Marquis Dawsey, owner of Black Lemonade Productions and Will Mauricette, a student at Ringling College of Art & Design who were presented with their award certificates and $1,500 scholarships on Sunday, April 2, 2023.
