Zander is a recent graduate of Pine View School and plans to attend Harvard University to study government. He made national headlines last month as he challenged his school and his state over LGBTQ rights.
During his graduation commencement address as Pine View’s first openly gay class president, Zander used ‘Curly Hair’ as an euphemism for his sexual orientation to avoid getting his microphone muted.
